Throughout her career, Fiona has held several senior leadership positions across the industry, including Chairman of the Independent Builders Merchant Group in its early years and Managing Director roles within HSS Hire. She has also worked closely with organisations connected to the social housing sector, including Coastline Housing and Sentry Doors, a fire safety business supplying into social housing across the UK.
Alongside her extensive leadership experience, Fiona brings specialist expertise in ESG strategy, bid management and business transformation, helping position JPS strongly for its next phase of growth as demand continues to increase for safer, warmer and more sustainable homes.
Speaking about the appointment, John Carter, Stark UK CEO, said:
“We are committed to supporting the building and construction industry across all of the sectors in which our businesses operate. To support our growth plans for our specialist businesses, we are bringing in additional expertise and targeted experience that will help accelerate the transformation of JPS and strengthen the propositions we provide to customers.
"We want to ensure we continue delivering the reliability, service and specialist support our customers need from their preferred builders’ merchant and materials distributor.”
Fiona added:
“I am delighted to join JPS and bring together both my experience and passion for social housing. JPS is already a very successful business that plays an important role every day in helping provide decent homes and stronger communities across the UK.
"What really stood out to me is the way JPS combines national strength with local relationships and people who genuinely care about doing the right thing for customers and communities. The opportunity to help shape the future of a business that is so focused on reliability, social value and long-term partnerships is incredibly exciting.”
